Now it’s open to the public and good for the day of purchase only. In 2019 a one day pass was actually good for 2 days and only available to those staying onsite. Now it’s $35 admission per person or it’s included in the All Day Play Pass. In 2019 we were able to use the Beach as a resort guest. To our disappointment so much has changed. We were excited to return this summer and bring two other families with us after talking up our first trip and waiting to return once we could get back into □□. We first stayed at The Westin at Blue Mountain in August 2019. I will not be going back even though I own the pass, I will take my grand Children to Mount St Louis Moonstone and pay the extra for me where they still believe in service for their customers. This hasn't happened in the past 2 years at any other resort and I have not been to Blue Mountain since pre covid. No way to get a window price and with the Ikon pass you have to pay at the window to get your discount though it might have been cheaper to purchase on line and they told me they gave me the discount on my helmet but I see on my receipt there was no discount and I was charged the full price. They have old doors closed, exxtra walking with kids and no one to give you any service. Covid protocols are over, I travel all over to ski resorts, this was by far the worst set up I have seen even during covid. They had no comfy bring your own food in seating either, it was closed and the kids sat at the numbered restaurant seating. I bought two hot chocolates from the bar. I was two minutes before it and couldn't get any food after 6:30 pm. We were at Graduate so went to the Center base and it closed at 6:30 pm. I went in to turn in the helmet and said, do you not have to check this off somewhere for the return and was told no, just set it over there, so I think maybe it's some kind of charge for that? Then I wanted to get the kids hot chocolate, a bite and warm up. I have disputed it as when I called not a soul in rentals could be found to deal with it, I just got booted from one recording to the next. After this I rented a helment for myself as I forgot mine and I checked my credit card tonight and the rental shop has charged for the helment at 16.95 and a mysterious $8.90 additional charge. Who can afford to bring children for these prices, that is with a large discount. With my 25% off on Icon it was $200.00 for two 8 hour tickets for an 8 and 11 year old. I tried in vain to find the Friday price when I was paying on Thursday but was told it would be based on sales the next day and I had to just show up and pay what it cost. I took my two grand daughters for two days. Now they seem to only care about the real estate and almight dollar. My second child was born in Collingwood and Blue Mountain was wonderful back then and cared about the locals.
